UFC 140 is set to go on December 10, 2011 at the Air Canada in Toronto, Canada where Jon Jones will clash with Lyoto Machida inside the Octagon ring in the main event. The World Light Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones will defend his title against the challenger Lyoto Machida in the Jones vs Machida fight.

The UFC 140: Jones vs Machida is a full pack with action. There are four bouts that are slated for the pay-per-view lineup that includes heavyweights Frank Mir (15-5 MMA, 13-5 UFC) vs. Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira (33-6-1 MMA, 4-2 UFC), light heavyweights Tito Ortiz (16-9-1 MMA, 15-9-1 UFC) vs. Antonio Rogerio Nogueira (19-5 MMA, 2-2 UFC), welterweights Rory MacDonald (12-1 MMA, 3-1 UFC) vs. Brian Ebersole (48-14-1 MMA, 2-0 UFC), and featherweights Mark Hominick (20-9 MMA, 3-1 UFC) vs. “The Korean Zombie” Chan Sung Jung (11-3 MMA, 1-0 UFC).

The original opponent of Jon Jones is supposedly his former teammate Rashad Evans but unfortunately can’t fight because of the hand injury that Evans sustained in his last bout with “Suga”. It was reported that it requires more time to heal so Lyoto Machida replaced Rashad Evans to fight as the opponent of Jon Jones in the main event of UFC 140.
