Its likely to have Morales vs Matthysse as undercard on the Mayweather vs Ortiz fight because Jorge Barrios still has legal issues on his documents in Argentina where he can’t leave the country. Its been reported earlier that Jorge Barrios is clear to travel outside Argentina but its not. And because of this issue, he cannot make it on September 17 to face Erik Morales so his countryman Lucas Matthysse steps in to take his place.

Lucas Matthysse is a very serious contender on the vacant WBC junior welterweight title. With Erik Morales match-up against Lucas Matthysse, the Morales vs Matthysse fight is far more legitimate bout on September.
